Join us for an inspiring lecture with Maria Cunningham, owner and curator of The Whatnot Museum, highlighting the early trailblazers of the Black hair industry. Discover the stories of innovators who overcame poverty and discrimination to build thriving businesses and uplift their communities. The program will also feature a display of rare historic Black hair artifacts from The Whatnot Museum’s collection.
